Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc)

The Bachelor of Engineering Science (BESc) is a 4-year long full time bachelor’s degree provided at the Faculty of Engineering at Western University. Students have the option to pursue this degree at one of the many offered program concentrations at the faculty. Some of the programs are Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Green Process Engineering, Integrated Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Systems Engineering, and Software Engineering. The faculty comprises of approximately 600 students in a welcoming and friendly environment. Students complete a common first year to explore all areas of engineering before selecting their program of choice. They acquire the skills and knowledge they need to become a Professional Engineer and define their academic experience in flexible and exciting ways, creating paths of study tailored to their individual interests and aspirations.
