Bachelors in Anthropology

Washington State University

Anthropology is the study of human behavior, so to say that it is a broad field is an understatement. Anthropologists are interested in understanding the world’s diverse cultures, their prehistory, the relationships between biology and culture, and the impact of language on our perceptions of the world. The program in anthropology at WSU emphasizes “public” anthropology, meaning that anthropology students are encouraged to share anthropological perspectives and insights with the public and use anthropological theories, methods and concepts to help solve contemporary problems and issues.
