Accounting (BS)

As an accounting professional, graduates of the B.S. in Accounting program at the University at Albany in New York can look forward to rewarding careers in accounting and business. As a student in the Accounting program at the School of Business you will be introduced to all the functional areas of accounting including financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation and accounting information systems. Our Accounting program also places a particular emphasis on ensuring that graduates have a clear understanding of the ethical values critical to the accounting profession, as well as an awareness of the societal obligations that accompany a career in accounting.
