Master of Science in Education - Mental Health Counseling

This 3-year program is intended to enhance the skills of practicing professionals who have goals of becoming effective professional school counselors or mental health counselors. The graduates complete coursework to help them make a difference in classrooms and other locations across the nation. The mental health counseling program is designed to meet the curricular requirements for Iowa professional licensure of the Bureau of Professional Licensure of the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science standards for a content-equivalent program to be evaluated by the Center for Credentialing and Education as of April 1, 2014.

BBA (Marketing)

BVU’s business program differentiates itself by offering a rigorous business core with the flexibility of five concentrations – sports management, marketing, entrepreneurship, financial decision making and human resource management. The business curriculum offers students unique opportunities to gain real-world experiences through the combination of an applied field experience or practicum as well as a focused internship.

Bachelor’s in Accounting

BVU's accounting students graduate as double majors in accounting and business. This provides students with strong technical accounting skills and a solid business foundation. Students can also choose an additional concentration, such as marketing, human resource management, entrepreneurship, sports management, or financial decision-making. The courses also prepare students for all sections of the CPA exam. From day one, faculty help students plan how to meet CPA requirements. In fact, most students meet the 150-hour CPA requirement in just four years.
