A career as a certified athletic trainer offers a dynamic and rewarding working environment with exposure to a variety of athletic and allied healthcare settings and professionals, including athletes, coaches, physicians, physical therapists, exercise physiologists, and other allied healthcare professionals. As outlined by the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, certified athletic trainers provide comprehensive patient care in five areas of clinical practice: prevention; clinical evaluation and diagnosis; immediate and emergency care; treatment and rehabilitation; and organization and professional health and well-being.
BA in Anthropology. Anthropology is the study of human biological and cultural diversity, seen over time in human evolution, and seen around the globe in the range of cultures and societies as they have themselves changed over time.
The acting and directing emphasis at Concordia University Irvine takes an advanced approach to acting using the Meisner technique and the comprehensive study of genres and styles in acting, speech, and movement for theatre, film, and television. Students will also learn how to direct a fully supported production.
