This program helps students to develop the knowledge and skills required to effectively address two of Canada’s leading health care issues – mental health and addictive behaviors. With the issues growing on an exponential basis, the need for experts in this field is endless. Students will gain both a theoretical understanding and the clinical skills required to help clients successfully navigate their challenges with mental health and/or addictive behaviors as they begin their journey to wellness. Through first-hand experience students learn how to delicately handle these special cases, and handle the patients with care.
