The Master of Arts in Intercultural and International Communication (MAIIC) enables international students to make use of diverse media and communication genres, and engage with a range of different audiences. Students will develop the skills needed to communicate effectively in complex circumstances. It is designed for students who want to pursue a communication career in the increasingly diversified and globalized world. Students will learn to engage different audiences in different cultural environments. They will focus on topics such as organizational communication and culture, public culture, intercultural competence, global policies and international relations.
This program allows international students to develop a broad range of leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills in real industry settings. They will gain vital knowledge of international hospitality, and undertake work experience with leading hoteliers. The program is designed with input from hospitality leaders. This dynamic program aims to develop students’ leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills and provides a firm grounding in hospitality management. Students will learn about the hospitality industry within an international context, and have the opportunity to practice new skills and apply new knowledge through an internship program.
This program combines social science and commerce and prepares international students to balance the needs of people, process and profit in their careers. Students will learn how to create and manage sustainable and responsible business practices in a competitive environment. Students will learn how to bring their ideas to the global market, striking a balance between environmental needs and corporate requests. The BBA will bring students real-world examples from industry-experienced instructors, so they can learn how to lead their organizations to success.
