The University of La Verne is a private not-for-profit university located in La Verne, California, United States, about 35 miles east of Los Angeles. The University of La Verne offers a distinctive and relevant educational experience to a diverse population of traditional-age, adult, and graduate learners, preparing them for successful careers and a commitment to life-long learning across the liberal arts and professional programs.

The university offers 55 undergraduate programs, 19 master’s degrees, four doctorates, and eight credential programs.
