Students will advance their skills and strategic thinking with a focus on the complexities of managing an airport, including commercial law, accounting and economics, finance, and planning and operations. The College’s proximity to world-class airports means that students gain first-hand knowledge from instructors who are leaders in their fields.
The Bachelor of Science airline management degree program is targeted toward meeting a need in the airline industry for qualified managers who have specialized training in this profession. Graduates of this program will be able to secure entry- to mid-level management positions in airlines. The program includes a substantial component of liberal arts and basic science courses. Courses in the major address management issues in general, as well as aviation and airline management.
The aeronautical sciences bachelor of science degree provides students with the flexibility to incorporate flight qualifications with academic studies. Graduates from this degree can obtain two or more Federal Aviation Administration certificates as a flight dispatcher and as a ground instructor for basic flight and instrument pilots.
