Interior Design

Interior design is a rewarding and creative career that allows people to bring beauty and function into the lives of others. VCAD's Interior Design program allows students to develop a skill set that compliments their creative vision so they can excel in interior design. The program introduces students to design principles, color theory, space planning, drafting, and industry-standard software. Students learn to create beautiful and effective residential, commercial, industrial and public space designs and layouts. Graduates of this program will have developed a portfolio to showcase their designs and will be prepared to enter a career as an interior designer, planner, project manager or design consultant.

3D Modeling Animation Art and Design

The 3D Modeling Animation Art and Design diploma program teaches students the skills they will need to successfully compete in the computer generated animation industry. The program harnesses the talent of industry-leading professionals to teach the theory and techniques used in three-dimensional animation art and design. The program focuses on game development, including staging scenes, game environments, using storyboards, and designing and animating 3D characters using industry-standard software. Graduates of this program will have a strong portfolio to showcase their animation work to find employment in roles such as character modeler, technical artist or junior production designer.

Game Development and Design

The Game Development & Design program at VCAD will give students the solid foundation in the technical and artistic skills needed to become a part of this growing industry. Students will learn the key of storytelling, game design, game play, modeling, and animation techniques. Students acquire a solid foundation in traditional artistic techniques as well. From color theory, design fundamentals to life drawing, they will apply this knowledge to the production and animation of characters, lighting, texturing, layout and design. Upon graduation, students will be prepared for work in a variety of CGI based industries like computer animation studios, game development companies, post production and special effects studios.
