Master of Science in Education - Mental Health Counseling

This 3-year program is intended to enhance the skills of practicing professionals who have goals of becoming effective professional school counselors or mental health counselors. The graduates complete coursework to help them make a difference in classrooms and other locations across the nation. The mental health counseling program is designed to meet the curricular requirements for Iowa professional licensure of the Bureau of Professional Licensure of the Iowa Board of Behavioral Science standards for a content-equivalent program to be evaluated by the Center for Credentialing and Education as of April 1, 2014.
